Brad Bacon, a red-blooded and red-haired 20-something, moves from a small town to Wolk, California (a fictional suburb of San Francisco) to work for a quirky CEO at a Twitter-like company. But when Brad arrives at Postur, he quickly realizes that his fancy salary is negated by the frivolous expenses of California living, his co-workers are a bunch of wokesters, and the CEO is on the edge of losing his mind & the company.
Postur is a free social networking site where users broadcast unasked for opinions in the form of short posts known as a Stance. These Stances can contain text, videos, photos, or links (as long as it follows our ever-changing guidelines). To access Postur, users need an internet connection or smartphone to use the app or website, Postur.com.
Founded in 2003 by serial wantrepreneur, Ezra Jensen, Postur is a place for like-minded individuals to find others who share their same worldview. Not only can you find others who think exactly like you, but you can also insulate yourself from differing opinions by easily blocking and reporting any user you so wish for removal!
On the first day of his new job, Brad Bacon is thrown into the dumpster fire that is Postur. Ezra Jensen, CEO, is back in the office micromanaging every move anyone makes, Karen Wilkins, office manager, is more concerned with a welcome lunch than getting work done, and the rest of his co-workers are already too woke to handle.
Ezra invites the public to pitch him Postur’s next great idea! Inside the office, Charlotte gets "Project Veritas’d" by one of the would-be idea men and is caught making unfavorable remarks about Ezra. Embarrassed, Ezra decides the best way to keep this from happening again is to build a fence around the campus or as he likes to call it an “Employee Protection Barrier”. Meanwhile, the interns are outraged when they learn their favorite lunch spot has redistricted their delivery map to exclude the Postur Campus.
Ezra puts his new AI Troll Detection system into mannequins to give the reporters in the streets the illusion that Postur is making hires. But when the mannequins become sentient, they jump in on the "me too" movement and accuse Ezra of sexual harassment to leverage more favorable working conditions. Meanwhile, the interns try to poach Arthur the security guard into committing an act of police brutality so they can post the clip for views.
After part of the building was destroyed in an electrical fire caused by Malcolm siphoning electricity to the vacant lot, Ezra wants to Build Back, But Better! So Ezra & the gang at Postur decide to rent out the less than habitable space on campus to low income individuals instead of investing in costly repairs. Malcolm & the other homeless people from the vacant lot move in and after a few days of peace, the new tenants form a Renters Union and advocate for lower rent because the rent is too damn high!
Ezra learns about an American Tradition, the filibuster, and uses this concept to inspire an hours-long speech that forces board members to leave before they can vote on whether he remains CEO or not. Gavin then chimes in suggesting mail-in voting to ensure a fair vote. Meanwhile, an old friend from home is riling up the press with his accusation that Ezra fired him from their childhood Waffle Stand which breaks from Ezra's claim to fame, that he has never fired a single employee.
Aaron Uscilla has been building businesses, creating stories, and writing music since childhood, growing up in New Haven, Connecticut.
At the heart of any business, story, or piece of music created is a desire to project your values to those who consume your services or content.
Too often in our society, the values found in most art are anti-... American, Capitalism, Free-Will, and Life.
Today, it is more important than ever that there is a space to create art that provides a moral justification for the values of our Constitution.
We are currently seeing the results of several generations growing up consuming media that provides a moral justification for the complete opposite.
Instead of defending the morals of the Constitution and reality, we need to use these tools to expose & attack the dangerous ideas of the left...and that is exactly what 'Wolk Folk' does.
Help me bring Wolk, California to life so we can show other Conservative, Republican, and (properly defined) Classic Liberals that there is space for your art, that your art has value, and that your art is needed to continue the American way of life.
